Transfers to Samos Airport

There are three options of transfer to Samos Airport: rental cars, taxis or buses. 

Rental cars – return your rental car by following the instructions given by the car rental company at Samos Airport. The rental car desks are located in the arrivals/all users area of the airport.

Taxis – Taxis will drop their customers off right outside the terminal entrance. The journey from Samos town is around 30 minutes long depending on traffic and the fare is around 25-30€ depending on size of company and luggage and what time and day of the week it is, as well as the distance you of your transfer.

Buses – the buses leave from Samos town with stops in several locations on the way. It takes around 30 minutes and costs 2€ for a single adult trip. Tickets are purchased from the bus driver at the time of boarding the bus and children under the age of 6 travel free of charge in the company of an adult.

Shuttles

It is possible to pre-book your airport shuttle transfer using the form above or your  hotel might offer it as a service for an additional charge. Many charter tour operators also have pre-organised transfers for their customers.

Parking – there are public parking spots located opposite the terminal entrances, but there is no official parking area that is handled by the airport.

Smoking at Samos Airport

There is no smoking allowed inside the airport, so make sure to smoke before going through the security control. 

WiFi at Samos Airport

The airport offers free and unlimited WiFi to all their guests. Simply log into the network named “Fraport-Free” and open up the browser to launch the welcome page.

Food and beverage at Samos Airport

There are three places to eat and drink coffee and various beverages at the airport, with one located in departures, landside, one in departures, airside and one in departures, airside Intra Schengen.

ATMs at Samos Airport

There are two ATMs available for departing visitors. One in the all users area and one in the arrivals area, all users area. There are no ATMs once past the security control.

There is one currency exchange desk located in the arrivals, all users area of the airport.

There are First Aid spots located within the airport for use when there is a medical emergency. Contact the staff at the Airport Information Counters for further assistance.
